Mhairi is passionate about all arts and crafts and as well as showcasing a wonderful array of pieces by local artisans, produces many unique pieces of jewellery, corsages and glass art of her own. She loves to share her passion by running evening workshops from 7-9 pm.

Sally’s suggestion:

Enjoy a morning’s visit to Ballindalloch Castle, one of the most beautiful and renowned castles in Scotland, followed by a lunch in their tea-room. Then, in the afternoon, enjoy a stroll around the traditional Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey, which dates from the 1760s, perhaps then choosing to visit the Museum, the traditional home of the Clan Grant or indeed pop into Smarty Art for a creative ceramic painting afternoon, just further along the High Street, prior to your jewellery session in the evening.
